2025 можеби беше една од најплодните години за музичката сцена во Македонија. Голем број на изданија од секој можен жанр, при што значаен дел самоиздадени проекти. Еден од овие самоиздадени проекти е i can only wait until my forever ends од alone in a crowded room, односно, Бранко Бјадов од Струмица. Бранко е дел од музичката сцена одамна, на својот bandcamp има објавено голем број на проекти, песни и кавер песни од Mount Eerie, Duster и други. Во однос на неговите настапи, покрај свиречката промоцијата за i can only wait until my forever ends која се оддржа во Буква на 10 декмври, 2025, има свирено и на Excess Festival – Струмица во 2024 година.
Кога зборуваме за звукот на alone in a crowded room, во негови зборови „...проектот е за мои амбиентални „експерименти“, инспирирани од tape loops и несовршеност на касетите, frippertronics и sound on sound техника, лиминални простори, носталгија/копнеж кон минатото и обид да се остане во иднина“.
i can only wait until my forever ends е албум издаден на 4 ноември, 2025 кој го чинат 11 траки. Длабоко емотивен и непријатно искрен. Во стил на train of thought и confessional, самиот албум наликува на збир извадоци од нечиј дневник, тој кој е затрупан во некоја кутија на таванот, во старата куќа каде што летото поминува споро, а зимата не е толку тмурна и страшна. Каде што самите текстови отсликуваат бујна рамка на чувства и мисли. Голотија на чистото човечко постоење.
Самата структура, односно, аранжманот се потпира на мелодична акустична гитара, нешто слично на инди фолк проекти, со голем фокус на надградување на мелодијата. Истото овозможено со нежно удирање на жиците и природниот звук на гитарата, односно од самиот шум креиран преку едноставите прогресии отсвирени на жиците. Верувам, инспирано од Duster, и сите слични музички творби кои со вакви аранжмани кај слушателот креираат чувства на меланхолија и носталгија. Во дел од песните имаме придружба и на нежни тапани кои додаваат на ритамот, но не го оттргуваат вниманието од гитарата.
Доколку ги разгледаме и другите проекти на alone in a crowded room, како indications (песна, 2024); alone in a crowded room (деби албум, 2024); a reminder (песна, 2024), како и ред други, ќе се примети дека нешто карактеристично што се јавува кај сите овие музички изведби се нежни и интимни вокали, за разлика од извикани вокали кои често се комбинираат со длабоко емотивни траки. Во овој албум имаме една кревка вокална изведба, не пригушена; тука е, присутна е, но не го надминува техничкиот приказ на инструменталот, повеќе работи како инструмент за подобрување на интроспективниот тон на песните.
Што работи доста добро за ваквиот микс на вокали и инструментал е можноста јасно да се пренесат чувствата, односно, прогресивното навлегување во емоцијата. Пред воопшто да се започне со пеење, веќе воспоставена е сцената за што ќе се почувствува од самиот текст.
За техниката на гитара која ја користи Бранко низ дел од песните, како chapter two: the in between и chapter three: the after, односно, комбинирање на слоеви на различни прогресии од акустичната гитара е убав додаток што ја збогатува текстурата на албумот. Заедно со вокалната изведба, мелодијата, и оваа техника ни е претставена една кохезија на сите квалитети на alone in a crowded room, како личен и интимен проект на Бранко.

2025 was perhaps one of the most fruitful years for the music scene in Macedonia. A large number of releases from every possible genre, with a significant part being self-released projects. One of these self-released projects is i can only wait until my forever ends by alone in a crowded room, that is, Branko Bjadov from Strumica. Branko has been part of the music scene for a long time, on his bandcamp he has published a large number of projects, songs and cover songs by Mount Eerie, Duster and others. In terms of his performances, in addition to the playing promotion for i can only wait until my forever ends which was held in Bukva on December 10, 2025, he has also played at Excess Festival - Strumica in 2024.
When talking about the sound of alone in a crowded room, in his words "...the project is about my ambient "experiments", inspired by tape loops and the imperfection of cassettes, frippertronics and sound on sound techniques, liminal spaces, nostalgia/longing for the past and an attempt to stay in the future."
i can only wait until my forever ends is an album released on november 4, 2025 consisting of 11 tracks. Deeply emotional and uncomfortably honest. In the style of train of thought and confessional, the album itself resembles a collection of excerpts from someone's diary, the one buried in a box in the attic, in the old house where summer passes slowly, and winter is not so gloomy and scary. Where the texts themselves reflect a lush frame of feelings and thoughts. The nakedness of pure human existence.
The structure itself, the arrangement relies on а melodic acoustic guitar, something similar to indie folk projects, with a great focus on building the melody. The same is made possible by the gentle strumming of the strings and the natural sound of the guitar, that is from the very noise created through the simple progressions played on the strings. I believe, inspired by Duster, and all musical works that with these types of arrangements create feelings of melancholy and nostalgia in the listeners. In some of the songs we also have the accompaniment of gentle drums that add to the rhythm, but do not take away the attention from the guitar.
If we look at the other projects of alone in a crowded room, such as indications (single, 2024); alone in a crowded room (debut album, 2024); a reminder (single, 2024), as well as a number of others, we will notice that something characteristic that appears in all of these musical performances are the gentle and intimate vocals, as opposed to shouted vocals that are often combined with deeply emotional tracks. In this album we have a fragile vocal performance, not muffled; they are here, they are present, but they do not surpass the technical presentation of the instrumental, they work more as an instrument to enhance the introspective tone of the songs.
What works quite well for this type of mix of vocals and instrumentals is the ability to clearly convey feelings, that is, the progressive immersion into emotion. Before the singing even begins, the stage is already set for what will be felt from the lyrics themselves.
For the guitar technique that Branko uses, throughout some of the songs, such as chapter two: the in between and chapter three: the after, that is, combining layers of different progressions from the acoustic guitar is a nice addition that enriches the texture of the album. Together with the vocal performance, the melody, and this technique, we are presented with a cohesion of all the qualities of alone in a crowded room, as a personal and intimate project of Branko.
