Идејата произлезе од недостиг на платформа каде што можеме да се изразиме и да покажеме почит или критика кон музичките настани и албуми со кои секојдневно сме опкружени. Служи како место каде што тие мисли и чувства ќе може да останат, наместо да испарат во доцноноќните разговори. Целта е искуствата да постојат некаде, запишани и можеби да поттикнат некој да твори повеќе.
mono-ton е непрофитен сајт, роден од љубов кон музиката. Отворен е за секој што сака да ги истури чувствата предизвикани од различни облици на звук. Пишувањето е во слободна форма – искрени впечатоци од луѓе кои навистина го живеат ова и сакаат да ги поддржат оние што создаваат секој ден.

mono-ton is created out of thirst for something written about all the things we keep talking about. In this small area where we’ve all found ourselves, there’s so many inspirational and creative people constantly creating new sounds, building something out of nothing, making life more bearable and more exciting. Enthusiasts who dedicate their lives solely to absorbing sound from all over the world, and yet, no one writes about it. That’s the main reason why Mono-ton came into existence: so that all those ideas and feelings stay—not just words thrown into the night air, outside after the events — but a place where all of that can stay and inspire the rest to continue creating.
mono-ton is unprofitable, since it’s created purely out of passion for music and expression. It’s an open platform where anyone can express how music makes them feel. It’s a place where anyone can write about the records they’ve listened to, the thoughts they’ve triggered, the rush they’ve given or the silence after. A space where someone might discover a new sound or read about a record they already knew and maybe get a new feeling by reading someone else’s perspective.
It’s a complete free-form. No rules, just a raw perspective from passionate people.
