Дуото Liba Villavecchia (сакс) и Vasco Trilla (бубањ) од Барселона доаѓаат во Скопје како дел од нивната турнеја со новиот албум 'Serrat' кој излезе на први септември.
До сега имаат работено заедно во повеќе состави, најчесто во триото на Вилавекија, а Serrat e нивно прво издание како дуо.
Скандинавското списание Salt Peanuts ги опиша како “Poetic sonic painters or shamans who color the expanded textures with raw emotion, moving imagination, and lyrical intensity, as if they are conducting magical, deeply immersive, and life-affirming rituals”.

The duo Liba Villavecchia (saxophone) and Vasco Trilla (drums) from Barcelona are coming to Skopje as part of their tour for their new album Serrat, released on September 1. They have worked together in various ensembles, most often in Villavecchia’s trio, while Serrat is their first release as a duo.
The Scandinavian magazine Salt Peanuts described them as “Poetic sonic painters or shamans who color the expanded textures with raw emotion, moving imagination, and lyrical intensity, as if they are conducting magical, deeply immersive, and life-affirming rituals.”
Come hear how drums can become a melodic instrument, creating an almost harmonic foundation for the dangerous atonal lines of an alto saxophone.
Local support: Improof, a trio from Skopje that creates free (most often tonal, and even more often modal) improvisation with the help of Oblique Strategies cards, this time joined by a secret wind player.
